Yama Seiki SW-20 Swiss Style Turning Center

SW Series offers more flexable operations such as turning, milling, and cross drilling. From a different combination of power systems, main-spindle, sub-spindle, front-end tool, rear-end tool, C-axis and live tools which means the workpiece can be finished at one time and also allows two operations to be machined simultaneously.

What does this mean? Quicker cycle times with added precision that passes directly on to our customers.

CITIZEN Cincom A16 Swiss Style

Marubeni Citizen-Cincom, Inc. is proud to introduce the new low cost Citizen CINCOM 4-axes A-16 Swiss-type lathe. The new A-16 concept was actually based on Citizens successful B series machine and was developed to upgrade current automatic CAM type users to CNC Swiss-type users. The cost effective A-16 offers many standard NC functions too numerous to mention and is by far the best value Swiss-type lathe in its class on the market. The main spindle motor housing is built-in, NO BELT. This technology offers higher spindle rotation accuracy resulting in better machining of parts. The maximum speed of the main spindle is 10,000 RPMs and the standard independent sub-spindle has a maximum 6,000 RPM. Also standard on the A-16 are three cross live tools and four front AND four back drills offering a higher standard machine with a variety of machining capability.

Yama Seiki GLS200

Packed with industry leading technology and top quality components, the YAMA SEIKI GLS series turning centers combine power, strength, and speed to bring you The Ultimate Machining Power®. These high speed machines will easily accomplish the demanding turning applications of today and tomorrow. Furthermore, with available live tooling, C-axis, and Y-axis capabilities; milling, turning applications may be completed in one single machine. Live tooling and C-axis control capabilities on the GLS series allows the machine to perform multiple tasks on a work piece, such as turning, milling, drilling and tapping. This eliminates manpower and cycle time, while reducing accuracy lost, which will occur if the part is moved from machine to machine.

MORI SEIKI SL15

High-performance CNC lathe, meeting a wide range of needs, from machining compact precision workpieces to heavy-duty machining. A variety of functions in a small body, achieving high-accuracy, high-efficiency machining. Mori Seiki SL-15 CNC lathe. MF-6 Control (Mori/Fanuc 16T), 20 HP spindle, 6" chuck, 6,000 RPM max spindle speed 12 station turret, Tailstock.

MORI SEIKI SL25

High-precision CNC lathes offers extensive features including high rigidity, measures against thermal displacement, energy saving performance and space saving design. The machine is controlled electronically via a computer menu style interface; the program may be modified and displayed at the machine, along with a simulated view of the process. The setter/operator needs a high level of skill to perform the process, however the knowledge base is broader compared to the older production machines where intimate knowledge of each machine was considered essential.

MIYANO BNC 34T

Miyano simplifies 4-axis programming with the latest control technology by using the latest of FANUC controls.

Miyano’s work coordinate system setting function automatically sets the tool into position, simplifying programming and tool setup, and reducing machining time. Cutting tool approach distance is shortened, and chip-to-chip time is kept to a minimum.

Standard control features include constant cutting speed control, decimal-point programming, corner chamfering and corner rounding, multiple repetitive cycles, manual pulse generator, tool nose radius compensation and RS232C (Serial) interface for remote data input and output.

MIYANO LX-01

Designed to provide secondary machining on small, lightweight parts that require relatively short cutting cycles. Tool geometry offset programming provides easy programming and tool setting on the machine. The tool setting has been simplified and setup time reduced. The operator simply takes a trial cut on the work piece, measures the cut diameter or length, and inputs this measurement value to the CNC control through the offset page. The control computer will then calculate the offset amount and set the correct position of the cutting tool.

Hardinge and OMNI Turn Tooling Lathes

The design of lathes can vary greatly depending on the intended application; however, basic features are common to most types. These machines consist of (at the least) a headstock, bed, carriage, and tailstock. Better machines like Hardinge tooling lathes are solidly constructed with broad bearing surfaces (slides or ways) for stability, and manufactured with great precision. This helps ensure the components manufactured on the machines can meet the required tolerances and repeatability.

Amura and Morando Lathes

In an Engine style lathe, metal is removed from the work piece using a hardened cutting tool, which is usually fixed to a solid moveable mounting, either a tool-post or a turret, which is then moved against the work piece using hand wheels. These lathe come in a wide range of sizes and shapes depending upon their application.
